Saturdays are “family day” at our house. Yes, some weeks my husband has to work (or go golfing…), or I might be working on a blog post — but we usually like to spend at least the morning doing things just the three of us.
The day usually consists of a variation of the following:
That being said, summer, and all the delicious fruits and vegetables that go with it, can't come soon enough!

Liam helping me choose flowers to take home! It's hard to beat $5 for a bouquet of flowers.
Okay — I'll stop with all the toddler pictures now… It's just hilarious all the faces this little guy can make in a matter of seconds.

This kid melts my heart. He seems to have this effect on others, too, as you can see he's thoroughly enjoying that apple he was gifted by a vendor. (Or, it was given in an attempt to avoid a potential meltdown.) Either way — the nice gesture speaks of the way farmer's markets create community.
